About the role
- The Vestibular Audiologist provides comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology services with a focus on vestibular and balance disorders. Services support active-duty service members and beneficiaries within a military treatment facility (MTF).Core Duties
- Perform vestibular evaluations (VNG/ENG, rotary chair, VEMP, posturography).Conduct comprehensive audiologic evaluations.
- Diagnose vestibular and balance disorders.
- Develop treatment and rehabilitation plans.
- Document findings in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with neurology, ENT, and rehabilitation providers.
- The Defense Intrepid Network (DIN) is a DOD-wide system of specialty clinics delivering advanced care for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and psychological health conditions in active-duty service members.
- These are high-acuity, high-complexity, interdisciplinary clinical environments focused on functional recovery and return-to-duty outcomes.
