About the role
We are currently assisting our client, an industrial manufacturer, with a Field Service and Technical Support Manager search in the Youngstown, Ohio area.
Responsibilities:
Lead commissioning and field service activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within established budgets.
Coordinate field service engineering resources and technician schedules, assigning the appropriate personnel to each project.
Manage customer communications throughout commissioning and service projects, providing regular updates on project status, progress, issues, and required actions.
Coordinate customer troubleshooting support by phone or remote visual platforms when technicians are unable to respond immediately.
Monitor commissioning budgets and communicate additional scope, site conditions, and purchase order modifications to customers as needed.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university
- Experience in project management, technical support, or field service management, preferably involving industrial equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills
