About the role
To support a dynamic educational environment, the part-time Licensed Physician Assistant Educator will provide leadership and mentorship to students, develop course materials, and utilize diverse teaching methodologies in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities:
Provide professional leadership, mentorship, and support to students in their learning journey
Create and enhance educational materials and syllabi, ensuring alignment with course objectives
Utilize various teaching methodologies to facilitate student achievement of learning outcomesRequired qualifications 0-4 years of teaching experience in a university or college setting, preferably in Physician Assistant courses
Documented experience as a practicing clinician for at least 3 years
Terminal academic degree (Master's required; doctorate preferred)
NCCPA certified Physician Assistant or Board certified (or eligible) allopathic or osteopathic physician
Experience with online learning management systems is desirable
