About the role

Senior Brand And Content Strategist Dust is looking for a senior Brand and Content Strategist to define how our story comes to life across markets, channels, and will own Dust's global brand and content strategy: deciding which stories we tell, who they are for, where they should appear, and how they advance the business. You will turn company priorities, product innovation, customer outcomes, and the emerging AI Operator movement into narratives and programs that earn sustained attention. This is a strategy-led role with a strong editorial point of view, and it owns the work from strategy through execution across the channels where Dust tells its story. You will create flagship content yourself and bring in contractors, agencies, or other partners when additional capacity or specialist expertise will help. You will start as a senior individual contributor, with the opportunity to build a team as the function grows. You will have the opportunity to shape how a category-defining AI company shows up across the US and Europe while the market, and the conventions for communicating within it, are still being formed. Define Dust's Global Brand And Content Strategy Own the content program across social, video, customer, community, and editorial channels, carrying work from strategic direction through execution Decide which stories Dust should tell, who they are for, and where they should show up Translate Dust's company narrative and positioning into a distinctive content strategy for the US and Europe Build a content roadmap around company priorities, audience needs, market opportunities, and gaps across the funnel Establish the voice, editorial standards, and creative principles that make Dust's content recognizable and trusted Build The Stories And Programs That Compound Turn product launches, customer outcomes, company milestones, and market shifts into stories that earn attention and deepen understanding Build customer storytelling into a flagship, multi-format program Champion the AI Operators rewiring how work gets done inside their companies Tell the story of how Dust runs on Dust and shape compelling programs with customers and ecosystem partners Scale Storytelling Through Others Build a customer and partner co-marketing and storytelling engine to drive credibility and relationship-building Enable voices within Dust, from engineering to go-to-market, to contribute authentic public-facing stories Build the playbooks, briefs, workflows, and creative network needed to produce and scale high quality content consistently Build content operations on Dust and set the standard for an AI-powered content function Connect Content To Business Outcomes Define success across awareness, audience growth, engagement, influence, and qualified demand Build the measurement systems needed to understand which stories, formats, and channels are working and continually refine the strategy Partner with product marketing, growth, comms, community, and field marketing on launches and integrated programs. What You'll Bring Have 5-7+ years of content or brand strategy experience at a fast-growing B2B software company Have built a brand people genuinely care about; you think like a media company operating inside a marketing org Have a strong grasp of modern distribution: social-first content, Linked In dynamics, video, community, and creator-style playbooks in an enterprise context Are a stellar storyteller across a wide range of formats and topics, able to make complex technology clear, credible, and compelling Connect content to business results, and use both qualitative and quantitative signals to decide what to make next Scale through others: you build productive relationships with cross-functional teammates, customers, agencies, and freelancers, and you create systems that outlast any single piece of content Are deeply fluent in (and curious about) AI: you'll run your own function on Dust and speak the language of our buyers and users Are based in New York or San Francisco Scope Notes To be explicit about boundaries with adjacent functions, this role does not own:Co-founder presence, executive thought leadership, PR, or communications (owned by our Comms & Ecosystem lead; you'll collaborate closely on narrative alignment)Core product marketing or positioning Growth experimentation and paid acquisition Location We're prioritizing building our team with an in-person culture at our offices in Paris, San Francisco, and New York because we value the magic that happens when talented people work closely together. We have an office-first culture. Some of the best things about building at Dust are the energy, the fast decisions, and the unexpected conversations that unlock a hard problem, which happen because we are in the same room. Being together is not a formality, it is how we do our best work, and it is something we actively protect. That said, we hire people with strong judgement and we extend that trust to how they manage their time. When working from home makes more sense for what you need to get done that day, we trust you to make that call. Why Dust The models are powerful enough. What's missing is the product layer where AI meets how companies actually work. That's what we're building: the infrastructure that lets any team turn scattered knowledge and tools into coordinated execution with agents they build, own, and run themselves. We use Dust ourselves every day. We get to shape how humans and agents collaborate while solving our own problems with the product we ship. That loop is rare, and it's why we move fast. If you're excited about defining a new category and want to join a determined team of optimists who focus on users, ship fast, and don't take themselves too seriously, we'd love to talk. Even if you don't check every box in our requirements, we encourage you to apply. We value diverse perspectives and backgrounds, and we're more interested in your potential and passion than a perfect match to our checklist. Learn how we think and work. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
