We are seeking a motivated, dependable and patient-focused Part-time Registered Dental Hygienistto join a busy, growing dental practice. This position is ideal for a clinically confident hygienist who combines excellent patient care with efficiency, communication, teamwork and patient education. The Registered Dental Hygienist will provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal care, complete clinical assessments and periodontal charting, educate patients regarding their oral health and recommended treatment, and collaborate closely with doctors and the clinical team. This role works within a 60-minute hygiene schedule and requires the ability to adapt appointment flow based on X-rays, periodontal findings, doctor exams, patient needs and treatment discussions.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide preventive and periodontal hygiene care Complete periodontal assessments and charting Take digital X-rays and utilize intraoral technology Educate patients regarding oral health, periodontal conditions and home care Communicate clinical findings and concerns to doctors Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Follow infection-control, sterilization and OSHA protocols Build strong patient relationships Collaborate with doctors, RDAs, front-office team members and other hygienists Maintain efficient patient flow within 60-minute appointments
Requirements:
Active Texas Registered Dental Hygienist license Experience working in a busy dental environment Strong clinical assessment and periodontal charting skills Confident discussing periodontal conditions and recommended treatment Comfortable with digital X-rays, intraoral technology and modern dental equipment Strong time-management and organizational skills Excellent patient communication and education skills Reliable, punctual and accountable Team-oriented and willing to support the practice as needed Open to coaching, feedback and continued professional development zohofillablehiringrequestfull_R…
