Customer Support Specialist
Location: Ashburn, VA (5 days onsite per week)
Pay: $65-70/hrUS Citizens/GC Holders Only;

Responsibilities: Perform rack-and-stack, maintenance, cable management, and decommissioning of server, storage, and network infrastructure. Deliver Tier 1/2 hardware and software support, diagnose system faults using standard procedures, and coordinate RMA or vendor repairs. Support hardware refreshes, capacity expansions, and after-hours maintenance in mission-critical colocation environments. Maintain accurate asset inventories (DCIM), write root-cause analyses, update knowledge bases, and log issues in ticketing systems (e.g., Service Now).Adhere strictly to data center safety, security, power, and environmental standards.
Qualifications: Hands-on experience with rack-and-stack, power distribution, cooling, KVM, and cabling standards. Deep knowledge of enterprise servers, storage, switches, routers, VLANs, and patch panels. Familiarity with incident/change management workflows, asset tracking, and DCIM/ticketing platforms. Ability to read rack elevations, network diagrams, and technical documentation. Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to prioritize tasks independently and participate in scheduled on-call rotations. Effective communication with cross-functional IT teams. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during onsite shifts.
