About the Role:
We’re seeking a hands-on accounting leader to oversee accounting operations and partner closely with the CFO during our next growth and transformation phase. We play a critical role in supporting organizations where power continuity is essential, helping schools, healthcare facilities, and enterprises maintain the infrastructure that keeps operations running when outages occur. This is an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Accountant ready to take the next step into a leadership role, expand their influence beyond day-to-day accounting, and help build a scalable finance function alongside an experienced CFO.What You'll OwnLead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting. Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and maintenance of strong accounting controls. Partner with the CFO to improve accounting processes, reporting capabilities, and financial infrastructure. Manage revenue recognition, deferred revenue accounting, and compliance with U.S. GAAP.Own cash flow forecasting, treasury activities, banking relationships, and debt covenant reporting. Oversee sales tax compliance, fixed asset accounting, and coordination of audits and tax filings. Optimize NetSuite and other financial systems to improve efficiency and scalability. Mentor and develop accounting team members while supporting day-to-day accounting operations.
What We'd Like:
Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance. CPA preferred.
Progressive accounting experience with demonstrated ownership of key accounting processes; prior team leadership experience is a plus.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP with experience in financial reporting, month-end close, general ledger management, reconciliations, and internal controls.
Process-improvement mindset with ERP experience (NetSuite preferred) and the ability to build scalable accounting practices.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills; exposure to inventory, manufacturing, service-based, or multi-entity environments preferred.
