Job Description: Job Description MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY - VALVESCOMPANY PROFILE:Fluidyne Corp is a prime contractor that manufactures custom valves for the Navy. The majority of our business supports the Navy's critical Nuclear Propulsion and Level I/Subsafe programs. Consequently, the quality of our product is vital to our success. Our facility is clean, well lit and fully air conditioned. We were established in 1984 and currently employ 30 people. In addition, we are very proud of our extremely low employee turnover.
WORK HOURS: This position require a 40 hour minimum work week, with 8 hours overtime always available and strongly encouraged. Our start time is 6:00 AM. Our lunch period is 30 minutes. We do not work on weekends or second shift. COMPENSATION PACKAGE:We offer a competitive compensation package commensurate with talent and experience. This package includes company paid health insurance (employees are required to pay a portion of the cost for dependents) and a 401(k) Plan that includes a 35% employer match.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years experience with assembly and testing of valves or equivalent mechanical assembly. Light manual machining experience (preferred but not required)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: AND REQUIREMENTS:Assembly and Testing of Valves per drawing and procedural requirements. Use of material handling equipment. Light manual machining when needed. Strict adherence to detail. Follow Engineering and Quality instructions.
