About the role

Substitute Bus/Lunch/Recess Monitor Monitors report directly to the building principal and are responsible for supporting the daily supervision and safety of students in the cafeteria, playground, and other designated areas.
Compensation: $17.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities: Supervise students during arrival, dismissal, and lunch periods Assist with supervision during recess on the playground or other designated areas Work in both outdoor environments and standard school settings Ensure established rules are followed and report concerns to appropriate personnel Support orderly arrival and dismissal procedures Assist students during lunch, including food distribution, purchases, disposal, and handwashing Maintain cleanliness of tables and surrounding areas Perform other related duties as assigned Adhere to the West Irondequoit Central School District Code of Conduct
