TPA & 3(16) Retirement Plan Sales Consultants📍 Multiple U.S. Territories | Remote + Travel💰 Base Salary + Commission + Performance Bonus Several growing Third Party Administrators (TPAs) are expanding their sales teams and looking for retirement plan sales professionals who know how to build relationships, develop referral partners, and grow a territory. These opportunities are ideal for professionals who enjoy the wholesale side of the retirement industry — developing relationships with Financial Advisors, Recordkeepers, CPAs, Broker-Dealers and other Centers of Influence while serving as a knowledgeable retirement plan resource.
What You’ll Do:
  • Build and manage a regional sales territory
  • Develop relationships with Financial Advisors, Recordkeepers, CPAs, Broker-Dealers and Centers of Influence
  • Generate new prospects and referral sources
  • Sell TPA, 3(16), 401(k), DC, DB and Cash Balance services
  • Consult with partners on retirement plan design and solutions
  • Conduct advisor education and presentations
  • Manage pipeline, activity and sales goals
  • Travel throughout the territory to develop and strengthen relationships
What We’re Looking For: ✔️ Retirement plan / 401(k) industry experience✔️ TPA, 3(16), wholesaling, sales or business development experience✔️ Financial Advisor and/or Recordkeeper relationships✔️ Understanding of qualified retirement plans and plan design✔️ Knowledge of the TPA / Recordkeeper / Advisor ecosystem✔️ Strong prospecting, presentation and follow-up skills✔️ Self-directed, entrepreneurial and motivated to build a territory Bonus Experience
  • Established Advisor, Recordkeeper, CPA or Broker-Dealer relationships
  • DC, DB and Cash Balance plan knowledge
  • ASPPA or other retirement industry designations
  • Experience developing a new or underdeveloped territory This search could align well with TPA Sales Professionals, 3(16) Sales Consultants, 401(k) Wholesalers, Regional Sales Directors, Regional VPs and Retirement Plan Sales Consultants.
