About the role
- Act as the primary EHS representative for the client on site
- Implement and enforce project-specific safety plans, AHAs/JHAs, and client requirements
- Perform daily site inspections, audits, and safety observations
- Track corrective actions and ensure timely closure
- Lead incident, near-miss, and hazard investigations with root cause analysis
- Interface with project management, subcontractors, owners’ representatives, and regulatory agencies
- Conduct site orientations, toolbox talks, and safety meetings
- Monitor safety trends, metrics, and compliance documentation
- Support high-risk activities including cranes, rigging, MEWPs, excavation, electrical safety, and LOTORequired Qualifications5–7 years of construction safety experience, representing a General Contractor
- Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926 Construction StandardsOSHA 30 required (OSHA 510 preferred)
- Demonstrated experience managing subcontractor safety compliance
- Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work full-time on site in Port Washington, WIPreferred QualificationsBCSP certification preferred: CHST, ASP, or CSPExperience supporting large-scale, high-risk construction environments
