About the role

Job Purpose: To support the mission and goals of American Honda Motor by ensuring the safe, accurate, and timely flow of materials, enabling reliable customer support, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Accountabilities: Inventory Receiving & Put-Away Receive inbound material and verify part numbers, quantities, batch/lot numbers, serial numbers, and supporting documentation. Inspect incoming parts for damage or discrepancies. Accurately process receipts in SAP/ERP systems. Store materials in designated warehouse locations while maintaining inventory accuracy. Order Fulfillment & Shipping Pick, pack, and prepare customer and internal orders for shipment. Ensure order accuracy and proper packaging methods. Generate shipping labels and required documentation. Process domestic, international, and hazardous material shipments in compliance with company and regulatory requirements. Inventory Control and documentation Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy. Conduct daily maintenance and location audits. Maintain vendor certifications, airworthiness documents, shipping records, and retention files. Investigate and report inventory discrepancies. Safety, Compliance & Operational Support Follow all company safety procedures and regulatory requirements. Assist with loading/unloading shipments and warehouse operations. Operate material handling equipment and company vehicles safely. Support continuous improvement efforts and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Qualifications, Experience, &
Skills: High school diploma Valid driver’s license 0–1 year experience in material control or logistics Other Job-Specific Skills Aerospace material handling experience Strong communication skills, both oral and written Knowledge of SAP is preferred Ability to be forklift certified Excel Organization with training and procedures
Working Conditions: Work is performed in a warehouse and distribution environment with exposure to noise, dust, varying temperatures, and material handling equipment. The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials up to 50 pounds. Employees must safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment and comply with all company, FAA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, and applicable regulatory requirements. A valid driver's license is required. The role requires overtime, weekend work, flexible scheduling, and participation in on-call support as customer and business needs dictate.
