Mailroom Sorter
turning pointsBradenton (FL)
About the role
If you thrive on being organized, and like to dig into the details, this role is for you! Position requires sorting incoming mail by name and type on behalf of our clients, ensuring mail is properly stamped, slotted and returned to sender when applicable. In many cases, this mail is extremely important to our clients, and may be confidential and time-sensitive. The mailroom sorter will follow established procedures, work closely with fellow mailroom volunteers and ensure high quality and efficiency in all mailroom tasks. If successful in the role, there may be an opportunity to move into the Mailroom Desk position, which includes responsibilities for both customer service and database work.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
