What You'll Be Doing: You'll work as part of a team assembling large modular metal structures and their components. This is active, hands-on work that combines elements of construction, mechanical assembly, and manufacturing. Assemble metal building structures and prefabricated components Measure and position materials using a tape measure and other measuring tools Install metal siding and other building components Read and follow basic blueprints, work instructions, and specifications Prepare fittings and materials for fabrication and welding Use hand and power tools safely and accurately Operate a forklift as needed and when qualified Check completed work for proper fit, alignment, and quality Work at different heights using required safety equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
What We're Looking For: Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Manufacturing, construction, assembly, carpentry, or similar hands-on experience preferred Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure Comfortable using hand and power tools Blueprint or technical drawing experience helpful, but not required Comfortable working at heights with appropriate safety equipment Able to regularly lift and carry up to 75 lbs., with occasional assisted lifting of up to 200 lbs. Comfortable standing and walking for most of the workday, as well as bending, climbing, kneeling, and crouching Good motor vehicle record required Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team Flexibility to work overtime when needed High school diploma or GED preferred.
