About the Role: Printech Business Systems Inc is looking for a skilled Digital Print Operator to join our team in New York, NY! This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced print production environment where your technical expertise and attention to detail will make a real impact every day.
Responsibilities: Operate and monitor digital printing equipment to produce high-quality print materials Set up, calibrate, and maintain digital printers to ensure optimal performance and color accuracy Review and preflight digital files to ensure print-readiness before production runs Perform quality control checks throughout the print process to meet client specifications Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime Manage print job queues and prioritize workflow to meet production deadlines Handle finishing tasks such as cutting, binding, and laminating as needed
Requirements: Must have experience with Xerox Igen or other large-scale digital print machines Prior experience operating digital printing equipment in a production environment Proficiency with RIP software and digital prepress workflows Strong understanding of color management, ICC profiles, and print calibration Ability to read and interpret job tickets and client specifications accurately Familiarity with finishing equipment including cutters, laminators, and bindery tools Detail-oriented with strong quality control and problem-solving skills Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines in a high-volume print shop
