Free soup$5 lunch with payroll deduction Annual company events including summer picnic and annual employee recognition meeting Year-round employee appreciation events and activities Employee emergency financial assistance fundraising events Free parking Job Duties/Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each of the essential duties/responsibilities listed below.1.Prepare dishes by following menus for meal service according to policies and procedures.2.Serve food and condiments in appropriate servings in accordance with resident's individual diet in a manner that is pleasing to the eye and at the appropriate service temperature.3.Follow recipe and make adequate decisions relative to the meal for seasonings and other preparations.4.Provide daily cleaning, mopping, and sweeping as needed. Sanitize and clean surfaces and equipment.5.Taste food and make adequate judgments about taste, smell and texture of food.6.Prepare food items appropriate for persons on diets with modified textures including main course dishes and desserts.7.Maintain all mandated records including food temperatures, cooling logs and completed menus.8.Serve Sunshine Health employees at meal times in accordance with policies and procedures.9. Prepare all food products including meats, vegetables, fruits and/or desserts for upcoming meal services.10. Provide proper maintenance and monitor food and beverages.11. Work cooperatively with supervisors and dietary staff and maintain a good working relationship with all outside staff.12.Perform all other duties deemed necessary by Supervisors, Managers, Directors and Administrators.
Requirements:
  • 2 years or more experience in high volume food production and/or culinary degree certification
  • High School Diploma or General Education DegreeFood Handler's Card
  • Equivalent experience is not accepted in place of required education.
