Confidential Senior Corporate Controller SearchA growing and financially stable real estate investment and operating company is seeking a Senior Corporate Controller to lead corporate accounting, financial reporting, international consolidations, treasury, and related finance functions across a complex portfolio of real estate investments.This role requires both significant real estate accounting experience and extensive experience managing international consolidations under IFRS. The ideal candidate will have successfully led complex multi-entity reporting structures across domestic and international entities and bring a deep understanding of real estate ownership, investment, and operating structures.This role will partner closely with executive leadership and play a key role in driving financial strategy, ensuring compliance, strengthening internal controls, and supporting continued organizational growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all corporate accounting and financial reporting functions for a diverse real estate portfolio.Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including consolidated financial statements and ownership/investor reporting.Manage complex domestic and international entity structures, including IFRS consolidations and international financial reporting requirements.Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, lender requirements, investor reporting obligations, and other regulatory standards.Direct accounting operations across multiple entities, joint ventures, and affiliated organizations.Lead annual audits, tax compliance efforts, and external reporting requirements.Oversee treasury, cash management, banking relationships, debt compliance, and liquidity planning.Partner with operations, investment, asset management, and executive teams to support strategic initiatives and business growth.Build and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and risk management processes.Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives.Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and automation projects.Develop and mentor a high-performing accounting team.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA strongly preferred.10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience.Prior experience as a Controller, Corporate Controller, Assistant Controller, or equivalent senior accounting leader.Must have substantial real estate industry experience.Must have extensive experience with multi-entity consolidations, including international entities and IFRS reporting.Strong understanding of real estate investment structures, debt agreements, and entity-level reporting.Experience leading audits and managing relationships with auditors, lenders, attorneys, and other external stakeholders.ERP experience required.Strong leadership, communication, and business partnership skills.Why Consider This Opportunity?Executive-level position with direct exposure to senior leadership.Opportunity to lead finance and accounting for a growing real estate platform.Highly visible role with significant influence on business strategy and operations.Strong organizational stability and growth trajectory.Long-term advancement potential.International exposure and travel opportunities.Competitive compensation, bonus potential, and comprehensive benefits.
