We are looking for a Supervisor who combines strong technical trade knowledge with a client-first mindset to help deliver high-impact solutions.What You'll DoAs a Supervisor in our Trade Advisory Services practice, you will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver advisory services across a range of customs and global trade matters:Client Service & AdvisoryAdvise U.S. and multinational clients on customs, tariff and trade compliance mattersSupport development of trade strategies aligned with business and supply chain objectivesIdentify opportunities for duty savings, tariff mitigation and supply chain optimizationAssist with CBP inquiries, audits, disclosures and post-entry adjustmentsEngagement DeliveryManage day-to-day execution of client engagements, including deliverables, timelines and communicationsSupport end-to-end project lifecycle activities, including scoping, planning and tracking against budgetsBalance multiple priorities across a dynamic and fast-paced client environmentCollaborate with teams across tax, consulting and technologyPractice Growth & InnovationIdentify opportunities to expand services and deepen client relationshipsContribute to development of tools, templates and scalable service offeringsSupport internal knowledge sharing and technical collaborationPeople & LeadershipCoach and mentor junior team membersProvide feedback and support team developmentContribute to a collaborative, high-performing team cultureThought LeadershipSupport development of client-facing insights and presentationsParticipate in webinars, client discussions and industry forumsBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, international trade, supply chain or related fieldRequires a minimum of four years of experience in customs, international trade or global trade advisoryRequires working knowledge of U.S. import/export regulations (e.g., CBP requirements)Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skillsProven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to travel as neededPreferred QualificationsAdvanced degree (MA/MS, MBA, JD, LLM or similar)Licensed Customs Broker or other trade-related certifications (e.g., CUSECO)Experience with duty recovery, FTAs (e.g., USMCA), tariff engineering or trade compliance programsFamiliarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) or global trade management toolsExperience in a consulting or professional services environmentAt RSM, we offer a competitive benefits and compensation package for all our people.
