About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Crew Leader to join their growing operations team. This role serves as a key link between field operations and management, providing hands-on leadership while supporting scheduling, job planning, team development, and operational performance. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced logistics or field-services professional looking to grow into an Operations Management role.
Responsibilities: Lead and supervise field crews, providing direction, coaching, and training. Mentor team members and help identify and develop future leaders. Assist management with recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and crew assignments. Coordinate daily assignments and monitor job progress. Allocate tasks based on team members' skills and experience. Help manage vehicles, equipment, and supply inventory. Monitor job performance, labor efficiency, quality, and costs. Serve as the primary on-site contact for customers and professionally resolve concerns. Communicate job status, delays, safety concerns, and other issues to management. Conduct pre-job safety briefings and enforce company safety policies. Perform quality checks and document job outcomes, safety incidents, and equipment issues. Troubleshoot operational challenges and assist with identifying solutions to recurring issues. Participate in management training and gain exposure to higher-level operations responsibilities. Support additional operational projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.2+ years of leadership experience in logistics, transportation, field services, or a related industry required. Valid driver's license required. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working with customers, employees, and management. Basic proficiency with email, spreadsheets, databases, and other computer applications. Willingness to travel approximately 50–70% of the time; occasional overnight travel may be required.
