About the role
Job Description:
• Client is looking for a Recruiter to join the Human Resources team at its Newton, Iowa manufacturing facility. • This is a hands-on recruiting role for someone who enjoys building relationships, finding great talent and partnering directly with hiring managers. • You will support the full recruiting lifecycle across a wide variety of positions and play an important role in helping the Newton facility continue to build its team.
What You'll Do:
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and establish candidate qualifications • Create and publish job postings across job boards and recruiting platforms • Proactively source and engage potential candidates through Linked In, social media, professional networks and other channels • Review resumes and applications and identify qualified candidates • Conduct initial phone screens and develop candidate shortlists • Interview candidates across a range of experience levels • Manage candidate communication and follow-up throughout the hiring process • Build and maintain pipelines of talent for current and future openings • Participate in job fairs, networking events and other recruiting initiatives • Track recruiting metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill and source of hire • Partner with and advise hiring managers on interviewing and candidate assessment • Support quarterly and annual hiring plans and broader talent acquisition initiatives • Help deliver a positive candidate experience from first contact through hire
What We're Looking For:
• 2+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition or related experience • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Previous experience as a Recruiter, Recruitment Specialist or similar role • Hands-on experience with Linked In, job boards and other recruiting platforms • Strong sourcing skills across social media and professional networks • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills • Excellent written and verbal communication • Collaborative, organized and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
