About the role
Executive Advisory Board Member | Quantum Cybersecurity and Advanced Technology United States · Remote · Part-time · Equity grants and stock options Help shape how enterprises prepare for quantum-era cyber risk. A privately held quantum cybersecurity company is seeking an accomplished leader to join its Executive Advisory Board. You will work directly with the founders on decisions that shape company direction, enterprise adoption, strategic partnerships, and long-term growth. Our capabilities span cryptographic discovery, continuous risk intelligence, security validation, post-quantum migration strategy, and protection of sensitive network connections. We help organizations turn complex security questions into evidence, priorities, and action. Where You Can Make a Difference The engagement will focus on a few agreed priorities where your experience, judgment, and relationships can have the greatest impact: Sharpen market priorities and positioning around enterprise needs. Guide the founders through complex customer, procurement, and partnership decisions. Make thoughtful introductions and help develop relevant strategic relationships. Provide candid counsel on product direction, commercial opportunities, and execution. You will have direct founder access and a clear advisory mandate, with substantive opportunities to influence decisions alongside experienced executive peers. Who We’re Seeking Current or former CEOs, CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, CROs, board members, and senior operating leaders who have built businesses, led transformation, or guided complex organizations. Relevant backgrounds include cybersecurity, enterprise technology, financial services, healthcare, government, and critical infrastructure. We value independent judgment, trusted relationships, commercial perspective, and the ability to turn experience into practical guidance. Prior quantum expertise is welcome but not required. Commitment and Equity We offer generous advisory equity grants and stock options, tailored to the responsibilities of the appointment and the experience and contribution each leader brings. Award terms, vesting, and service expectations will be documented before appointment. No cash salary is offered. The anticipated commitment is four to six hours per quarter for scheduled advisory work. Additional meetings, introductions, or events will be mutually agreed in advance. This is a part-time advisory appointment without corporate director authority or operating management responsibilities. Express Your Interest Please share your leadership background and the areas where you could make the strongest contribution. Company identity and further details will be shared during an initial confidential conversation.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
