About the role
- Coordinate expatriate onboarding, transfers, and departures
- Maintain employee records, tracking reports, and payroll worksheets
- Assist with payroll, allowances, reimbursements, and payment processing
- Coordinate visa, immigration, and tax-related documentation
- Review numerical data and identify errors or discrepancies
- Respond to employee inquiries and communicate with headquarters in Japan, internal departments, and external vendors
- Support HR administration and process-improvement projects

- Fluent Japanese and business-level English
- Strong administrative, coordination, or operations support experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with numerical data
- Exceptional accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
- Proactive work style with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Basic accounting or bookkeeping knowledge preferred
- Experience with SAP, Concur, payroll, or HR systems is a plus
- Approximately three or more years of related experience preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship
