Embedded Firmware Engineer – Wireless IoTLocation: Indianapolis
Salary: $150,000 pa + benefits
We’re working with an innovative technology business developing connected IoT devices and cloud-based monitoring solutions for critical environments. The company is growing its embedded engineering team and is looking for an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer to develop reliable, low-power wireless devices from initial hardware bring-up through to production and field deployment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across firmware, hardware, connectivity and product development. You’ll design, develop and maintain embedded firmware for low-power connected devices, working closely with hardware, cloud and mobile engineers.
Required experience:
  • 4+ years' professional embedded firmware experience
  • Strong C/C++ skills
  • Experience developing production embedded systems
  • Good understanding of HAL/LL, embedded toolchains and debugging
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as J-Link, OpenOCD, SWD and GDBExperience with at least two wireless/networking technologies, such as:
  • LoRaWAN, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy, NFC, Cellular
  • Comfortable working from schematics and hardware datasheets
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analysers and other hardware-debugging equipment
  • Strong Git/version-control practices
