Mid Level Appian Developer Long-term Contract
Position Overview:
We are seeking a hands on Mid Level Appian Developer to support an active federal modernization program. This individual will be responsible for building and configuring solutions within Appian and should be comfortable contributing independently in a fast moving development environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and configure applications and workflows within the Appian platform• Build and maintain process models, interfaces, business rules, and application components• Support integrations between Appian and external systems• Work alongside technical leads, developers, testers, and functional team members throughout the development lifecycle• Troubleshoot application issues and support ongoing enhancements• Participate in Agile development activities and collaborate across the technical team• Contribute to development as the program moves into active build and implementation Required Qualifications• Approximately 3 to 4 years of software development experience with strong hands on Appian development experience• Experience developing within recent versions of Appian, ideally versions 23 through 26• Ability to independently build and configure Appian solutions• Experience working with application integrations, APIs, and databases• Strong understanding of application development and troubleshooting• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust Preferred Qualifications• Experience with Appian 26.x or other recent Appian releases• Exposure to newer Appian capabilities including AI, agentic functionality, or data fabric• Appian certification• Experience working in Agile development environments• Federal or public sector experience is helpful but not required Work Arrangement Remote candidates can be considered.
