Concrete Plant Manager | Hymix Bunbury Bunbury, WA | Full Time Hymix is seeking an experienced and customer-oriented Concrete Plant Manager to safely lead our Hymix concrete operation in Bunbury. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient and profitable operation of the plant, ensuring exceptional customer service, product quality and team performance. At Hymix, we understand the importance of time and strive to provide our customers the highest level of service and on-site support.
About the Role: Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient and profitable operation of the Hymix Bunbury concrete plant. Leading a team of production and delivery personnel, you will ensure the plant consistently delivers outstanding service while maintaining Hymix’s high standards of safety, quality and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and promote a strong safety-first culture across all plant operations Manage daily concrete production and dispatch activities to meet customer requirements Manage budgets, reporting and performance metrics to achieve business objectives Drive operational efficiency, productivity and cost control initiatives ensuring compliance with company policies, environmental requirements and relevant regulations Manage plant maintenance programs to maximise equipment reliability and availability Lead, coach and develop plant employees, fostering a high-performance team culture Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and key stakeholders
About You: You are a proactive and capable operational leader with a passion for safety, people leadership and delivering exceptional customer outcomes. To be successful, you will ideally have: Previous experience managing a concrete, quarry, manufacturing, logistics or industrial operation Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage, coach and develop teamsA demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities Sound commercial acumen and experience managing operational costs and performance Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Experience in the construction materials industry will be highly regarded
