About the role
Responsible for recovering charged-off accounts, the full-time Wisconsin Licensed Charge Off Collector will negotiate payment arrangements and settlements while working remotely, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining a customer-focused approach.
Key responsibilities
Handle inbound and outbound calls with consumers and authorized third parties
Negotiate payments, settlements, and repayment plans while addressing consumer concerns
Utilize skip tracing tools to locate consumers and prepare account-related correspondence
Required qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of FDCPA and collection regulations
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Professional phone and basic computer skills
Ability to manage difficult conversations and work a flexible schedule
