About the role
Senior Data Scientist We are looking for two Senior Data Scientists with experience implementing AI and Machine Learning techniques from the ground up. You will be part of a team of two Data Scientists exploring opportunities to implement Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies in our environment.
Responsibilities:
Build out an AI/ML sandbox for conducting Data Science experiments.
Identify applications/processes that could benefit from AI/ML and implement those technologies.
Educate existing staff on basic algorithms along with best practices and pitfalls of each.
Create a roadmap for the future state of our platform.
Requirements:
BS/MS degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc. or equivalent experience.
Excellent knowledge of best practices in the fields of AI/ML.Financial Services experience a plus.
Great analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to break down and understand complex business problems, define a solution, and implement it using advanced quantitative methods.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes.3-5 "

Interview Process:
- The candidate will most likely go through two, maybe three, rounds; presumably one interviewer at a time. There will not be a test.

- Working HoursIt's really going to depend on which project they're working on and who their business unit is. Ideally we'll have as much overlap as possible but it's not a requirement that they work the exact same hours. We're open.
