Responsibilities: Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of treatment plans for patients with diverse physical and medical needs Conduct physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, focusing on exercises, stretches, and other therapeutic interventions Observe and record patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the physical therapist Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and outcomes Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a safe and clean environment for all patients
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies or related field Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Massachusetts Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients as needed Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
