About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Vice President, Capital Investment Strategies to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space. This executive will lead capital investment planning and execution across a large multi-property hotel portfolio, partnering closely with ownership and senior leadership. The role will shape long-term investment priorities by balancing ROI, risk, brand standards, and asset value. It will also oversee facilities, engineering, and sustainability-related initiatives that support operational performance across the portfolio.
Location: Alpharetta, GA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $250,000 – $275,000 annually
Responsibilities: Lead the development of a comprehensive 5-Year Capital Plan across 75 hotels, aligning with ownership's investment strategy Implement a disciplined capital review process to prioritize projects based on ROI and risk management Oversee capital expenditures ensuring adherence to budgets and project scopes Ensure project teams meet approved standards for budget, schedule, and quality Direct the facilities and engineering functions across all hotels, focusing on maintenance and building systems management Establish engineering standards and performance measures while coaching property teams Provide oversight for the energy program, ensuring alignment with sustainability goals
Qualifications: 15+ years of hotel industry experience, focusing on capital projects and facilities/engineering operations in multi-property environments Proven track record of managing annual spends over $100M with tangible results Expertise in energy management programs, with accountability for external consultants and vendors Strong understanding of brand standards and PIP requirements of major hotel groups Strong financial acumen linking expenditure decisions to ROI and asset value Effective communicator with the ability to engage with CEO, ownership, and hotel staff Experience building, coaching, and inspiring high-performing teams
