About the role

Our growing hybrid fronting carrier client is adding to their Programs team and looking for a Senior Programs Underwriter to help manage a diverse portfolio of programs from a referral, underwriting oversight, and cross-functional standpoint, ensuring the continued profitability and success of these books.
The ideal candidate will have: 10+ years of underwriting experience across any mix of production or program underwriting, with a background in Property & Casualty, Specialty, and/or Professional Lines. This person will work closely with Program Administrators and internal teams across Actuarial, Claims, Finance, Operations, Compliance, and Legal, and will be involved in everything from new program due diligence and onboarding to underwriting guidelines, forms, pricing, renewals, portfolio analytics, and ongoing program performance. This position is remote anywhere in the U.S., although candidates who live near one of the company's offices should expect some in-office presence. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
