About the role
VP of Finance Westminster, CO (Hybrid)A high-growth, venture-backed company in mineral processing is looking for a VP of Finance to lead and scale its finance function. Reporting to the President, this role oversees FP&A, accounting operations, cash management, internal controls, and financial systems development. A strong fit for a senior finance leader with capital-intensive industry experience who wants to build scalable infrastructure while partnering closely with executive leadership. Highlights Base salary up to $210K plus 20% bonus and LTIsHybrid schedule in Westminster, CODirect reporting line to the President with real influence over strategy Broad ownership spanning FP&A, accounting operations, treasury, and systems Involvement in board and investor reporting as the company scales High-growth, venture-backed environment with real building to doResponsibilitiesOversee financial planning and analysis, accounting operations, reporting, and cash management Serve as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, providing financial insights and disciplined forecasting Build scalable financial processes to support continued growth Lead FP&A processes including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial modeling Manage accounting operations including month-end close, audit readiness, treasury, and tax coordination Strengthen governance, compliance, and internal controls Lead ERP and financial systems improvements, including NetSuite optimization Support board and investor reporting, with potential involvement in IPO readiness
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required; MBA or CPA strongly preferred 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, preferably in a high-growth environment Prior experience as a VP Finance, Controller, or senior finance leader preferredStrong background in mining, industrial, manufacturing, or other capital-intensive industries preferredExperience in multi-entity or multi-jurisdictional financial environments preferredStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting NetSuite implementation or optimization experience preferredExperience supporting investor reporting or related governance processes strongly preferred A strong opportunity for a senior finance leader who wants to build and scale a finance function during a period of real growth.
