About the role
Electrical Estimator | Data Center Construction We are working with a leading electrical contractor on a large-scale data center construction project and are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to support the project from estimating through execution.
Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed electrical estimates for large-scale data center and mission-critical construction projects.
Review electrical drawings, specifications, scope documents, and bid packages to develop accurate takeoffs and pricing.
Perform material and labor takeoffs for electrical systems, including power distribution, switchgear, transformers, feeders, lighting, controls, and related equipment.
Work closely with project management, engineering, vendors, and subcontractors to develop budgets and proposals.
Review subcontractor and vendor quotes and identify scope gaps or discrepancies.
Assist with change orders, cost tracking, and project updates as the work progresses.
Participate in preconstruction planning, constructability reviews, and project handoff.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of electrical estimating experience, preferably within data center, mission-critical, commercial, or large-scale electrical construction.
- Strong understanding of electrical construction methods, materials, and systems.
- Experience reading electrical drawings, specifications, one-lines, and equipment schedules.
- Ability to perform detailed electrical quantity takeoffs and develop labor and material pricing.
- Experience with estimating software such as AccuBuild, McCormick, Trimble, or similar.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam or similar drawing/takeoff software.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple priorities.

- Data center or mission-critical construction
- Design-build projects
- Medium- and low-voltage power distribution
- Switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS, PDU, and related data center infrastructure
- Large-scale commercial or industrial electrical projects
- Experience working with owners, EPCs, general contractors, and electrical subcontractors
