Job Description: Job Title: Rubber Extrusion Operator Production 1st Shift Location: Elkhart, IN Pay: $17.00/hour Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 5 am to 3:30 pm Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and reliable Rubber Extrusion Production Worker to join our team on 1st shift. In this role, you will support daily production operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety standards are met. This position involves working with raw materials, operating machinery, and maintaining production records in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor extrusion equipment Ensure quality standards are met by following production procedures Maintain accurate records of materials, scrap, and production output Perform basic troubleshooting and communicate equipment issues promptly Support inventory control, including FIFO practices and cycle counts Follow all safety and housekeeping protocols Collaborate with leads and supervisors to resolve production issues and improve processes Requirements: Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Strong attention to detail Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift Must be able to regularly lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 40 lbs Basic mechanical aptitude and communication skills Prior manufacturing or extrusion experience is a plus #Elkhart
