About the role
- Greet customers at the front counter and assist with in-person and phone sales in a friendly and professional manner
- Help customers select tile and design options in the showroom, providing knowledgeable product support
- Accurately process phone and walk-in orders using basic computer systems and order entry tools
- Manage inventory by receiving shipments, organizing materials, and preparing customer orders for pickup or delivery
- Assist in warehouse operations, including lifting up to 75 lbs. and safely operating a forklift (training provided)
- Build strong relationships with B2B customers, contractors, and builders, ensuring reliable and solution-oriented service
- Support a team-focused environment, contributing to both showroom success and warehouse efficiency
- Strong communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude
- Prior experience in construction, tile, building materials, counter sales, or B2B service preferred
- Basic computer knowledge required to process orders and manage inventory
- Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs as part of daily warehouse duties
- Forklift experience is a plus (training provided for the right candidate)
- Energetic, motivated, and hands-on personality with a strong work ethic
- Commitment to building a long-term career in the tile/construction industry
- $16-18.00 per hour depending on experience
- Hourly pay with bonus/commission after hired full-time
