About the role
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Position will work in Weld, Round, and Flange and will weld, cut and braze metal pieces and products by using flame-cutting and hand welding equipment. KEY ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAble to read tags. Ability to tack weld with MIG weld. Able to correctly and efficiently flange pipe. Build and stuff wall fittings. Able to correctly change lead and liner. Ability to use and read a tape measure. Setup welder correctly according to specifications. Able to choose the correct shielding gas and attach to welding gun. Other duties may be assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in standard units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to adhere to delegation of authority and lead by instructions of management and supervision. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSNone required. COMPUTER SKILLSBasic computer skills may be preferred or required.
