Typesetter A typesetter is responsible for setting and arranging text and images in a visually appealing manner for printed or digital materials. This includes adjusting font size, style, spacing, and layout to create a cohesive design. The ideal candidate for this role must have a strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in design software such as Adobe InDesign.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with designers and editors to determine the layout of printed or digital materials
Adjust font size, style, spacing, and layout to ensure clarity and readability
Proofread text to ensure accuracy in spelling, grammar, and punctuation
Make necessary edits to the layout based on feedback from team members
Ensure all materials adhere to brand guidelines and standards
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in design software
Requirements:
Proven experience as a typesetter or similar role
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe InDesign
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong eye for detail and ability to spot errors in text and layout
Ability to work collaboratively with a team
Familiarity with brand guidelines and standards
Salary The salary for this position is $1200 per month.
Location This position is located in Atlanta. However, remote work options may be available depending on the candidate's location.
