About the role
VP, Hospitality & Lifestyle PRA growing boutique communications agency is looking for a senior PR leader to join its team and oversee a portfolio of hospitality, travel, and lifestyle clients. This is a role for someone who combines strong strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to PR. You’ll serve as a senior advisor to clients, lead integrated communications strategies, develop compelling stories and campaigns, and help guide teams across multiple accounts.
What you’ll do:
Lead senior client relationships across hospitality, travel, lifestyle, and related categories Develop communications strategies tied to broader business and brand objectives Advise clients on positioning, launches, reputation, cultural opportunities, and emerging issues Develop compelling narratives, campaigns, partnerships, and media opportunities Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant media and industry contacts Write and edit pitches, messaging, presentations, strategies, and other communications materials Lead and mentor account teams, providing clear direction and thoughtful feedback Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships and contribute to new business Partner with agency leadership on staffing, account health, and overall business development Represent the agency with clients, partners, and industry contacts Qualifications needed 10+ years of PR/communications experience, ideally with significant agency experience Strong background in hospitality, travel, lifestyle, or adjacent consumer-facing categories Proven experience working directly with senior clients and decision-makers Excellent media relations and storytelling skills Strong writing, editing, presentation, and strategic communication abilities Creative instincts and an ability to turn business objectives into compelling communications ideas Experience leading, mentoring, and developing teams Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment Experience contributing to client growth and/or new business is a plus This is an opportunity for a senior communications leader who wants meaningful client ownership, close access to leadership, and the chance to help shape the growth of an evolving boutique agency.
