About the role
Managing the execution of R&D processes, the full-time Principal R&D Operations Manager will oversee SDLC management, Commercial Interlock management, and financial reporting in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
Translate portfolio strategy into an executable R&D operating plan and establish governance for decision rights and approval processes
Manage the Commercial Interlock process to align Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success teams
Own monthly R&D reporting on budget, capacity, delivery, and risk, partnering with Finance for budgeting and forecasting
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, computer science, or a related field
8+ years of experience in R&D, engineering, or product operations within a software or data business
Proven experience managing an SDLC across multiple product and engineering teams
Administrator-level experience with Asana, Jira, and the Atlassian suite
Working knowledge of R&D budgeting, forecasting, and software capitalization
