Role Description:
The Pediatric Physical Therapist will provide direct, hands-on physical therapy services to infants, children, and adolescents in an on-site clinical setting in Baltimore, MD. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, implementing pediatric-focused therapeutic interventions, and documenting progress in a clear, timely manner. The therapist will collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare and educational professionals to support functional mobility, motor development, and participation in daily activities. This is a part-time, on-site role that may include flexible scheduling to accommodate family needs, patient follow-up, and team meetings.
Qualifications:
Strong foundation in Physical Therapy, with the ability to assess movement, functional mobility, and motor skills.
Demonstrated expertise or focused training in Pediatric Physical Therapy and Pediatrics to address age-specific developmental needs.
Knowledge of Rehabilitation principles and practices, including goal setting, treatment progression, and outcome measurement.
Understanding of Medicine and interdisciplinary care, with the ability to collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physical Therapist in Maryland.
Experience working with children and families in a clinical or school-based setting is preferred.
Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to family-centered care.
Ability to work independently on-site, manage a part-time caseload, and maintain professional ethical standards.
