Distribution Modernization Project Lead

Responsibilities: Manage projects from inception to completion, including planning, engineering, procurement, and closeout. Act as the main client liaison, fostering long-term connections and expanding service offerings. Develop proposals, support client presentations, and engage in contract negotiations. Monitor project schedules, scope, and costs to ensure successful outcomes. Oversee project financials, including forecasting, risk management, and change control. Implement project procedures, ensuring compliance with quality guidelines. Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, agencies, and internal teams. Collaborate with department heads to manage team resources and mentor staff. Provide regular updates on project status, costs, safety, and design issues. Travel to project sites as required.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related field. Advanced degree may substitute for experience. Minimum of 7 years in distribution engineering, with 3+ years managing projects. Proven track record in project management, delivering projects on time and within budget. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex tasks. Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying information clearly. Experience in distribution design and documentation. Knowledge of industry codes and standards. Ability to nurture client relationships and drive business growth. Professional Engineering (PE) registration and PMP certification preferred.
