About the role

Position Summary: Safely operate and monitor furnace equipment used in SCP Limited’s manufacturing process. The role requires close observation of heating cycles, digital monitoring systems, and process conditions to support safe, consistent, quality production.
Essential Responsibilities: Operate furnace equipment according to established procedures and work instructions. Observe heating cycles and monitor digital controls, readings, and process conditions. Identify and report abnormal furnace conditions, equipment concerns, or process deviations. Follow safety requirements, SOPs, quality standards, and required documentation. Maintain a clean, orderly work area and communicate equipment or process concerns promptly.
Qualifications: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established procedures. Ability to monitor equipment and process information carefully. Dependable attendance and ability to work a rotating 12-hour schedule. Ability to work safely and effectively in a manufacturing environment. Physical Requirements & Work Environment Stand and walk for extended periods during a 12-hour shift. Perform normal production-related lifting, bending, reaching, and movement. Work around manufacturing equipment and varying temperatures. Wear required PPE. Schedule 12-hour rotating/swing shifts. Rotation includes day and night shifts, weekdays and weekends.
