Company: Majors ManagementPosition Title: FuelStaff Accountant Reports to: Sr. Accounting Manager- Fuel OperationJob Type: Full TimeStatus: ExemptSalary Range:$60k-$70kLocation: Onsite, Lawrenceville, GAThe Fuel Staff Accountant will be responsible for accounting work needed to make sure accounts payable are processed in an efficient and timely manner.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Compile, analyze and report financial information utilizing Majors policies, professionalstandards, and US GAAPMonitor Accounts Receivable accounts including credit card transactions Preform analysis and conduct reconciliations for fuel inventory accounts Process Electronic Funds Transfers from daily invoicesExamine inside sales data for missing transactions and answer customer submitted help tickets Complete month end closing tasks as well as year-end closingOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSSkilled in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, LOOKUPs) and other Microsoft office programsAttention to detail is critical Must have analytical abilitiesAbility to maintain composure during stressful situationsStrong interpersonal skills requiredEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree preferredFuel Accounting experience highly preferred 2+ or more years of experience in a related field requiredPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
