About the role
Ski Check Attendant Greet guests, maintain good traffic flow, and check in and out of skis and snowboards. Responsible for the safety and security of skis and snowboards in Ski Check. Maintain good public relations with guests at all times. This position will start once the snow flies!
Essential Functions:
Efficiently check in and out skis and snowboards for guests. Ensure security of Ski Check. Maintain good traffic flow. Maintain good public relations with guests. Open and close Ski Check in accordance to company procedure. Regular routine trash pickup around Ski Check area and immediate entrance to Day Lodge. Maintain a safe entry way to day lodge at Ski Keep entrance. Exercise sound judgment and awareness regarding language, behavior, dress and grooming Actively participate in RLK and Company's Health & Safety Program by identifying and reporting potential hazards, reporting incidents, and promoting a healthy workplace. Exercise stewardship of all RLK and Company facilities and environments, ensuring that efforts are made to reduce, reuse, and recycle when the opportunity is present. Regular and reliable attendance.
Qualifications:
Must have service and people oriented personality. Must be detail-oriented with ability to set and meet high customer service standards. Must use proper etiquette while conversing with guests. Must know and follow all company procedures.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be flexible and capable of bending, twisting and kneeling. Must be able to work on feet, stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a shift. Must be able to keep up with the pace of the department demands of the position. Must be able to work and/or walk in snow, icy, uneven and slick conditions. Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather for up to 8 hours.
