Job Description: Dakota Mechanical — Now HiringDakota Mechanical is growing, and we are looking for a skilled and dependable HVAC Equipment & Duct Installer to join our team. We take pride in providing high-quality HVAC installations and service while creating a professional, supportive work environment for our employees. As an HVAC Equipment & Duct Installer, you will be responsible for installing residential and/or commercial HVAC systems, setting equipment, installing ductwork, and ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to Dakota Mechanical’s high standards.

Responsibilities:

Install HVAC equipment including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related components
Install, modify, and seal duct systems according to plans and job specifications
Perform equipment change-outs and new construction installations
Read and interpret HVAC installation drawings and layouts
Properly use hand tools, power tools, and HVAC installation equipment
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Follow all safety procedures and company standards
Work collaboratively with installers, technicians, and project managers to complete jobs on schedule
Provide quality workmanship and attention to detail on every installation

Qualifications:

Previous HVAC installation experience preferred
Experience with duct fabrication and installation preferred
Knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems
Ability to safely operate tools and equipment
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying conditionsEPA certification or HVAC training is a plus (but not required)
