Production Supervisor - FRS

Reports to: Supervisor Responsibilities: • Training production team members in safety, proper production practices, and quality standards • Ensure product being produced adheres to quality and labor standards • Enforce and improve labor efficiencies • Ability to motivate hourly employees to be productive and maintain good attendance • Work directly with the quality department and have a good understanding of the QMS to produce quality products • Interact with all levels of management and hourly employees • Track products being produced in the manufacturing progress to ensure each step of theprocess is followed correctly • Ensure all materials are staged and available when needed • Create corrective action plans to reduce the repetition of incidences • Follow company safety policies • Follow production schedules • Perform employee administrative duties such as scheduling, employee discipline, performance reviews, etc Qualifications: • Previous experience plant operations • Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite • Strong Organization Skills • Strong Leadership Skills • Familiarity with plant tools and equipment • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills • Ability to Lift up to 50 pounds • Ability to stand for 8+ hours • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Benefits: • Pay: $25-40/hr • Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance after 90 days • 401k w/ employer match 50% up to 6% • Shift premiums for 2nd shift
