School Bus RN Opportunity Calling all nurses! We are looking for Registered Nurses to work in school setting as a School Bus RN. This role is dedicated to providing nursing care on a bus for an assigned student. You would ride the bus to and from school. Currently looking for Registered Nurses to support students on bus rides to and from school. These are 3 hour shifts. We would like consistency, so ideally would like a RN to work 3-5 shifts per week.
Shifts include:
  • Early morning bus runs as early as 6am.
  • Afternoon bus runs at noon.
  • Medical needs will be discussed on interview
  • Come join our team and support our local school communities in Ontario and Wayne County.
Sub Nurse Job Requirements:
  • NYS Registered Nursing LicenseBLSDependabilityClean background check and drug screen
  • Computer skills
  • Must have a valid NYS RN license
  • CompassionMultitaskingPhysically manage a fast paced school health office, responding to classroom emergencies
  • Attending Field Trips off site
  • Understanding of the pediatric population
  • Strong sense of basic nursing skills
  • High level of autonomy
  • Work well with other school staff
