Overview: RENA Family Childcare Network is seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Education Coach to support Family Child Care (FCC) providers serving infants, toddlers, and 3K students. The ideal candidate will provide instructional coaching, curriculum support, compliance guidance, and family engagement services to ensure high-quality early childhood programming.
Responsibilities: Conduct coaching visits to affiliated Family Child Care providers at least twice per month, with each visit lasting a minimum of 90 minutes. Support the planning and implementation of an evidence-based curriculum within mixed-age, home-based learning environments. Provide individualized guidance on instructional practices, lesson planning, and classroom management strategies. Promote responsive teaching practices that support children’s social-emotional development and positive behavior. Provide support in family engagement strategies to strengthen partnerships between providers and families. Offer guidance related to mental health awareness, inclusive practices, and supporting the diverse needs of all children. Assist providers in strengthening overall program quality, compliance, and child outcomes.
Required Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Infant/Toddler Studies, or a closely related field. Demonstrated early childhood teaching experience (Birth–5), preferably in center-based or family child care settings.
