Experienced Division 8 Project Manager – Doors, Frames & Hardware Remote – United States Only | Full-Time
Reports To: Director of Project ManagementEXPERIENCED DIVISION 8 PROFESSIONALS ONLYCap 8 Doors & Hardware is seeking an experienced Division 8 Project Manager with direct doors, frames, and hardware experience. This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must already have hands-on experience managing Division 8 commercial construction projects and a working knowledge of doors, frames, architectural hardware, drawings, specifications, submittals, procurement, and project coordination. We are looking for a Project Manager who can step into the role and contribute immediately. Cap 8 does not currently have a training program designed to teach Division 8 fundamentals to candidates without prior industry experience. The Project Manager will lead projects from kickoff through closeout while coordinating with customers, general contractors, architects, estimators, detailers, vendors, warehouse operations, and internal teams.
Required Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant project management experience required. Direct Division 8 doors, frames, and hardware experience strongly required. Commercial construction experience required. Ability to independently read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, door schedules, and hardware requirements. Working knowledge of Division 8 submittals, procurement, change orders, material coordination, and project documentation. Ability to independently manage multiple projects, schedules, budgets, and customer relationships. Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Must currently reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.
