Tand Inc. is a general contractor specializing in public works roadway and infrastructure projects throughout Clark County, Nevada. We are seeking a qualified, ATTSA-certified Traffic Control Supervisor to join our team and ensure the safe and efficient movement of traffic around our active work zones.
Position Summary:
The Traffic Control Supervisor will work with our designated traffic control subcontractors and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all temporary traffic control measures on public works roadway and infrastructure projects. This role is critical to maintaining worker and public safety while minimizing disruption to traffic flow in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Create and prepare traffic control plans (TCPs) for public works roadway and infrastructure projects in accordance with MUTCD and Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) standards• Monitor traffic control setups on active job sites to ensure compliance with approved plans and safety regulations• Conduct regular traffic control inspections to verify proper placement, condition, and effectiveness of signs, devices, and barriers• Identify and promptly rectify problems with traffic control setups or equipment to maintain safe work zones• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and field crews regarding traffic control requirements and changes• Maintain accurate documentation of traffic control activities, inspections, and any modifications to plans• Ensure all traffic control personnel and equipment meet certification and operational standards
