Vice President, Account ManagementPosition is in office in Ridgeland, MS or Lafayette, LA Major Responsibilities The Vice President of Account Management position provides the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure that the Account Management department has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the department and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. The position accomplishes this through a respectful, constructive, and energetic style, guided by the objectives of the company.
Role Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day leadership and management to the account management team that mirrors the adopted mission and core values of the company. Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization. Develop strategies to help account managers grow existing accounts and ensure quality and cost-effective products and services. Evaluate and educate account management team in use of tools that drive work productivity. Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external. Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the department. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, processes and tools that will provide a better client experience while creating efficiencies for the department Serve as lead point of contact for key accounts while building and nurturing trusted, long-lasting relationships. Collaborate with sales, compliance, and claims team to ensure clients are served appropriately and expectations are exceeded. Maintain strong relationships with carrier and vendor partners while continually evaluating new carriers and vendor partners. Professional Qualifications Knowledge - level of education required, special certifications or licenses. Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Life and Health License Skills - job-specific knowledge and abilities, general business acumen, other required skills Operational development and management Personnel Management Project Management Strategic Planning Budget and Resource Development Customer Service Experience - level or related/unrelated work experience, number of years in prior jobs Minimum of five years of strong operational experience. Preferred at least three years in a senior management role. Technical Competencies - technical or other skills such as position specific software. Microsoft Office Products Professional Competencies - leadership, team building, training, financial skills Leadership CommunicationClient Focused Detailed Orientated Organized
